NDIS participants

A registered NDIS provider for diagnostic assessments.

PECS is a registered NDIS provider. Our psychological and educational assessments are claimable under NDIS plans for participants whose plans include relevant funding. We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants.

Common reasons for an NDIS-funded assessment

  • Confirming a diagnosis to support a plan review
  • Reassessment as a child grows and develops
  • Establishing functional capacity for plan funding decisions
  • Diagnostic clarity for autism, ADHD, intellectual disability and learning disorders

What to ask for in a plan review

  • Which diagnosis or functional area the assessment needs to address
  • Whether the funding sits under Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living
  • Whether the plan is self-managed or plan-managed (we invoice accordingly)
  • The timeframe before the next plan review

Who we work with

Supporting participants, plan managers and coordinators.

Participants

Self-managed and plan-managed participants can use plan funding for PECS assessments where their plan includes relevant funding.

Plan managers

We invoice plan managers directly. Contact us for our invoicing details and to confirm an assessment booking.

Support coordinators

We work with support coordinators connecting participants to assessment providers. Call to discuss availability and turnaround.

PECS assessments support, but do not guarantee, NDIS funding decisions. Funding outcomes are determined by the NDIA based on each participant's circumstances.

Claim a PECS assessment under your NDIS plan.

Talk to us about your plan, your funding category and your plan manager. We will confirm what is required before you book.

Acknowledgement of Country
