Dr Shane Langsford founded Psychological & Educational Consultancy Services in Subiaco in 1999. Over 26 years the practice has grown from a single practitioner to a team of seven fully registered psychologists, and Dr Langsford has personally conducted more than 12,000 assessments - including over 2,500 ADHD assessments.
He completed his PhD in Educational Psychology at the University of Western Australia, following a Bachelor of Education with First Class Honours, a Postgraduate Diploma of Education majoring in School Psychology, and a Bachelor of Psychology. During his postgraduate studies he worked for two years as a part-time School Psychologist with the WA Department of Education.
Dr Langsford is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and AHPRA, and holds Endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology in both Australia and the United Kingdom - a rare dual-jurisdiction credential. He is a Fellow of the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists with Full Academic Member status, a credential that requires a PhD, multi-year research and teaching experience, and a published body of relevant research.
He is the creator of PsychProfiler, an award-winning DSM-5-TR-oriented global screening instrument that has been the most widely used Australian psychiatric, psychological and educational screening tool since 2004.
